They’re back…..
Thousands of painted lady butterflies are back in the area. After the last time they were here in mass I read up about them and learned the adult butterflies only live for two weeks. Took a vacation day from work to shoot some RAGBRAI pics as riders leave Council Bluffs on the first day. Thought it would be fun to get up early and photograph riders silhouetted by the rising sun. The weather had other plans.
